Saints Stories and Topics

Here is a list of Saints compiled alphabetically to show their various protections offered. It is mostly accurate, though we have added a few topics on our own. For example, when we learned that teenage girls and “tweens” were purposefully harming themselves at an alarming rate, we decided to make Saint Catherine of Siena a patroness of “Girl Power” and we started painting her in fun, bright and glittery ways to try and bring her story to young girls. It worked! One day I was working and I got a call from a lady who was a schoolteacher. She said “I don’t know what you’re doing but keep on doing it. The girls in school are paying attention in Religion Class like never before.” That is one of the nicest compliments we have ever received. So, please be gentle with us if you see some slight discrepancy about a saint and their powers. We’re trying to bring the saints to everyone and in order to do that, we need to use “poetic license” every now and then…. But, generally speaking, the protections listed are accurate.
