Juan Diego was a poor farm worker in Mexico. He is best remembered for repeatedly receiving the vision of the Virgin Mary at Guadalupe in 1513 that became known as “Our Lady of Guadalupe.” Saint Juan Diego is the patron of Mexico and Mexico City. Some say the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe shows her pregnant with soon-to-be Baby Jesus! David Shaw, from the band “The Revivalists” has worn her proudly, as has “Maroon 5’s” Adam Levine, while hosting “The Voice” on NBC.
