AN ONLINE SALE FOR EVERYONE, AND FOR THOSE OF YOU NEAR NEW ORLEANS, COME SEE US TOMORROW AT THE GRETNA ART FAIR IN THEIR TOWN SQUARE!

Hello Everyone!

Here’s a bit of news for you to read and share and spread around to all of your friends, family, and coworkers. “It’s Nice to Share!”

First, we missed the celebration of Saint Francis of Assisi’s Feast Day on October 4th. So, for anyone who orders this weekend, we will be sharing a gift from Assisi in your medal package.

Second, on Saturday (also known as tomorrow) October 9, 2021, SaintsforHope has been chosen to participate in the Gretna Art Fair on the West Bank of the City of New Orleans. We’re very excited to be included in the Art Fair! Come by and visit us at our booth.

When you come to the Art Fair, be sure to ask to see the antique saint medals we found in Provence, France. You can pick one out for yourself! They will not be on full display because we are still working on the vintage French Prayer Cards and Antique Saint Medal Display, so make sure you ask to see them! Hopefully we will have it ready for the Gretna Art Fair in November!

The Flood Medal Crosses are still available though there are not too many left to be sold. We brought one to WHATS NEW in the French Quarter @ 824 Decatur Street yesterday. WHATS NEW is across the street from the beautiful Saint Louis Cathedral, where we hope to be selling our brand new hand-painted saint Louis, King of France medals

MORE ABOUT THE FLOOD MEDAL CROSSES and the NEW NEW FLOOD MEDAL CROSSES COMING SOON!

Since we have nearly run out of the Flood Medal Crosses, we decided to come up with a new old repurposed flood medal cross.

Introducing our “Ida Katrina Flood Fence Crosses.” That’s almost a tongue twister. We are taking the remnants of disasters and giving them a brand new life as pieces of history.

Everyone knows that Hurricane Ida wrecked New Orleans, and that Ida came along on the “Anniversary” of Hurricane Katrina. While the bayou parishes were unfortunately not as lucky, there was very little flooding in the city, thank goodness. Many homes, however, lost their roofs and fences flew all around like Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz.”

We decided to begin picking up the wooden fence panels being thrown away.

We are cutting crosses from the discarded wood. Soon we will be offering Hand-Painted “Remixed, Remade, Remodeled” Hurricane Ida Fence Panel Crosses adorned with Hurricane Katrina FLOOD medals.

As the one hit wonder band Chumbawumba, sang in ‘Tubthumping,’  “I Get Knocked Down, But I Get Up Again, You’re Never Gonna Keep Me Down.”

We will just grow stronger after Hurricane Ida, just as we banded together and got better after Hurricane Katrina.

So, if you’d like the FLOOD MEDAL cross, order soon, OR just wait for the Ida Katrina Crosses COMING SOON.

THE ONLINE SALE

Note that the Holy Spirit Medal is for sale, at a very nice price!

Finally, I’ve decided to move to France to the town of Venasque in Provence. Fortunately, the folks who have helped me over the years, Daniel, Victoria, Emily, Melissa, Casey, Rick, Francos, and even our resident DIVA, Brooks, will be able to keep things running smoothly. And I will be able to concentrate on writing the book I’ve mentioned a million times.

I’ll have more to say about this as plans progress. SaintsforSinners/SaintsforHope has had its ups and downs, but we’re still standing, maybe not upright tall, but that day is coming!

Thanks for reading to the bottom line!
