CORRECTION: 18th & 19th Day of Lent - Pope Francis I ✌️ Amplifying and Echoing Pope Francis I and His Call for Peace
We were a bit surprised and embarrassed when we were informed that Sundays are not included in the “40 DAYS OF LENT.” It still does not make much sense to us but…Rules are Rules. So back to day 18 & 19
Here is our “Hot Off The Press” (Ahem …. For the youngsters, back-in-the-day, way before Sirius All News All Day and Cable Television, “hot off the press” meant some big hot news was coming out about something so the publishers would rush to get it written, printed and then distributed to the people). The news would be literally and figuratively, hot off the printing press.
The Vatican’s Pope Francis has again reached out to the Ukranian President! President Zelensky announced today that he had another spirited conversation with Pope Francis and says he would welcome his role as a mediator in the war with Russia.
In a Tweet on Twitter, Volodymyr Zelensky wrote:
Many of you know Pope Francis is an active Jesuit, and is the ethos for the common refrain, “If you want peace, work for justice.”
