The United States Tennis Association has FINED USTA Tennis Pro Reilly Opelka for carrying a pink bag at the US OPEN. It cost Reilly $10,000.00 because he carried the same bag he always carries, on to, and off of, the tennis courts.
When tennis pros were asked about it some replies were, “YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!,” by John McEnroe. And that’s “WINNING UGLY” by Brad Gilbert. Others wondered, whether the bag was “OPEN,” by Andre Agassi.
THIS IS THE BAGGAGE REILLY CARRIED THAT THE USTA FOUND OFFENSIVE:
Look for Reilly as he plays today. His opponent is Nikoloz Basilashvilli from Georgia (the country, not the state) and his match starts after 5:00 PM, EASTERN STANDARD TIME. GO REILLY!
