Paris & Rome & Canonizations with Apostolic Blessings!

Paris & Rome & Canonizations with Apostolic Blessings!

Hello!!

Palm Sunday is coming soon and Good Friday is only one week away!

We’ll be at Notre Dame in Paris and then off to Rome for the Canonization of Carlo Acutis. This is such an exciting time. We can’t wait to see the refurbished Cathedral and then join the kids in Rome to celebrate the First Patron Saint of Millennials.

(Don’t you think they need one?)

Also ….

Sherri Mowad at InHouse Interiors in Monroe (2108 Forsythe, Monroe 71201) has begun selling our hand-painted medals. She put our display on her Facebook page. It’s great! Follow InHouse Interiors On Facebook and Instagram!

Sherri has also started “Drop Shipping” our medals. Yesterday we sent medals to Alexandria, Louisiana on the behalf of Sherri and InHouse Interiors in Monroe! That was fun. We sent Our Lady of Perpetual Help medals to teachers at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor School. Something tells me we are going to get a few orders from Alexandria soon.

InHouse Interiors has a great selection of gifts and home décor. The most exciting thing about Sherri’s life though, in my opinion, is her son Maddox Mowad! He is one of the best golfers in the State and he is in 10th Grade. Last week he placed 3rd in the State Tournament!

The Masters Tournament is being held this weekend at Augusta National Golf Club. We’re rooting for Rory McIlroy from Ireland, because he has not won a green jacket yet.

Hopefully, one day we will see Maddox put on that green blazer and then we will go to Monroe to wear it ourselves for just a minute! "Ya Gotta Believe!"

Unfortunately....

This Newsletter has to end! It has to end because of this new thing. It’s called “TLDR!” This is actually true: TLDR stands for “Too Long Didn’t Read!,” and it was invented by some digital millennials in Silicon Valley (or my niece and nephew!).

So, because of this TLDR thing, I’ll end this here. Don’t worry, though, I’m still going to write to you a lot!

We will be sending postcards from Paris and also from the Vatican. The Vatican Post Cards will be Blessed by the Pope, because there’s a rule in the Catechism that says if you bring a Sacramental to a Canonization, it’s automatically Blessed by the Pope, who presides. ("With his Apostolic Blessing, the Holy Father will also Bless .... objects of devotion you have brought with you.") Curious Trivia, indeed!

Thanks for Reading to Bottom Line!
