Saint Teresa of Avila: Courage and Faith with a Personal Touch
Pictured below is Saint Teresa of Avila, along with one of our hand-painted saint Teresa medallions. She is one of our favorites and is one of the 4 female "Doctors of the Church." Teresa is well-known for her outspokenness. Read about Saint Teresa if you need some courage to speak what's on your mind!
We're finally up-to-date again and are sending out our unique saint medal packages very quickly. We mailed to Australia and the United Kingdom! We also mailed to New York City.
Yesterday we mailed out an order that arrived only minutes before we left to get to the Post Office in downtown New Orleans. That's the great news.
The not too great news is that the "Who's Your Saint" quizzes are not being answered fast enough. I'm sorry about the delay. I answer all the quizzes myself and sometimes I fall behind, as most of you know.
And sometimes the person filling out the quiz does not put in their e mail address or they have a typo in the address. If there's a mistake in the e mail address, my response winds up going to the Internet Netherworld. Please be sure to include your e mail address while you are taking the
"Who's Your Saint" Quiz.
We just finished painting a new set of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati medals. Our crafter, Mark, has done such a great job! Pier's going to be Canonized as a saint in 2025 and we will be traveling to the Vatican in Rome for the occasion.
Pier is likely going to be officially known as the patron of hikers and bikers. He loved to go mountain climbing. He also liked to smoke a pipe but we decided to paint over the pipe and hide it in the blue sky. Shhhhh. Pier was also known to be a practical joker, very much like Saint Philip Neri who is a patron of comedians, practical jokers and the military.
Here is a prayer from Blessed Pier:
I pledge to daily perform one act of charity and say the "Prayer for the Courage to be Great." Millions of people have begun calling the prayer a Pact. And you can join in the pact by performing one act of charity every day. Read more:
