We are sending out an Unpainted Medal .... Matt Talbot, the Recovery Patron

We discovered a new Matt Talbot medal. Matt Talbot is the Patron Saint invoked for help with Recovery from Addiction.

Our friends from college are currently in Dublin and visited the Matt Talbot Statue. At around the same time, we discovered a Matt Talbot medal with the inscription on the back:

"SELF-CONTROL AND CHARITY ARE SORELY NEEDED TODAY."

We've decided to add the medal with the inscription to our hand-painted saint medal package of Matt Talbot.

" Broken People Can Get Better if they Really Want To...."

So, this is one of those days when we make an exception to our policy of only sending hand-painted medals.

Self control and charity are sorely needed today. If our Matt Talbot package can encourage anyone with their Recovery, that makes us happy.
