We all know it’s “PAWS” – Pets Are Wonderful Support! 🐾
Animals and pets play a vital role in our lives, offering unconditional love, companionship, and emotional support. They provide comfort during tough times, bring joy and laughter to our daily routines, and even improve our physical and mental well-being. Studies have shown that pets reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and can help combat loneliness. Their presence enriches our lives, reminding us of the simple pleasures and the value of nurturing living beings. Whether it's the wag of a tail or the quiet purr of a cat, our pets remind us that love and loyalty are truly universal languages. Unfortunately, not everyone knows, and many pets still suffer from neglect.
The following organizations work tirelessly to rescue and rehome countless dogs in the New Orleans Metro Area:
Help raise funds to support their mission of finding loving forever homes for all the stray dogs in New Orleans! Saint Rocco, the Patron Saint of Dogs and their Rescue Organizations, and Saint Francis, the patron of animal lovers who famously tamed a wolf, remind us of the power of compassion for animals.
