Saint Fiacre & the Sacred Shovel Invoked for Healing Mind, Body & Spirit

Today we are very happy to be ....
Introducing Saint Fiacre of Breuil, the miraculous healer of Mind, Body, and Spirit. Saint Fiacre is our newest saint. He's so new, his paint is still drying!
Fiacre sought a life of solitude. He wanted to work as a farmer and supply vegetables (maybe it was fruit, I don't know. I wasn't there!). He asked the Bishop for some land so he could grow and harvest his crops.
The Bishop said he would give him some land. He told Fiacre to go out and work on the land and however much he could till and toil within one day would be the property the Bishop would give him.
So, Fiacre started to work the land. In the meantime, people started coming to Fiacre seeking his touch. Fiacre's touch was healing people. He healed their ailments, their Mind, Body, and Spirits. Fiacre obviously had the gift....
What he really wanted though, was land from the Bishop and be a farmer, so he got a shovel (you can see it on his medal) and began to till and toil the land. When he placed the shovel onto the soil, the ground below it immediately became fertile and prospered. Everywhere Fiacre placed his Sacred Shovel, the land below it became capable of harvesting.
Fiacre had all the land he needed to become a harvester. He possessed merciful healing properties too so he miraculously healed the minds, bodies and spirits of the people who came to him for help with his healing touch!

We are making progress getting the new Saint medals painted and up on the web site. We will be presenting the patron of Para/Olympians - a patron of Determination and Resilience, saint Margaret of Castello.
