In 1810, Mother Saint Michel brought the statue of Our Lady of Prompt Succor (meaning “Quick Help”) from France to New Orleans, and placed her in the chapel of the Old Ursuline Convent on Chartres Street in the French Quarter. From this position of honor, Our Lady has performed many miracles for the inhabitants of New Orleans, especially protecting the city and its citizens from hurricanes and floods. In 1815, the Ursuline nuns of New Orleans prayed to Our Lady of Prompt Succor to secure General Andrew Jackson’s victory in the Battle of New Orleans. Pray to Our Lady of Prompt Succor when you need help—and quick, like when you are searching for answers during a test or quiz!

Your order includes our vibrant one-of-a-kind hand-painted saint medal, a silver necklace, keychain clasp, or Sterling Silver necklace (your choice!), the story of Our Lady in greeting card format, a felt pouch for safekeeping, unique prayer cards from Rome, Italy, an extra envelope for easy mailing or gifting and a money back guarantee, “No Questions Asked.”  Rob and SaintsforSinners.com stand by their work product. The stories are sometimes embellished, paraphrased, or updated, but overall, they retain the theme presented at canonization or veneration.
