SOLD OUT UNTIL SEPTEMBER, 2023 Hand-Painted Flood Crosses. Medals Retrieved after Hurricane Katrina

These unique SaintsforSinners crosses hold hand-painted saint medals that were recovered from our studio after Hurricane Katrina. Before the bulldozers plowed down our flooded home, Rob dug up the medals and held on to them all these years. We have finally come up with a way to clean the medals up a bit and repurpose them as artifacts and pieces of history from the hurricane, the levee breach, and flood. On the back of the hand-painted crosses we list the names of the saints on the medals. It’s nice to be able to take something old and damaged and make it usable again.
