Saint John “Don” Bosco was the founder of the Oratory of Saint Frances de Sales for Boys. Through this organization, he housed wayward youth and gave homeless kids a place to live and earn decent wages, working and publishing from his printing press. Saint John became known as an “Apostle to Youth” and worked diligently to help youngsters grow into responsible, caring adults. Young children can pray to Saint John “Don” Bosco for guidance and the courage to do the right thing. In New Orleans, the Covenant House does just that by helping young people in need.
