April Showers Bringing May Flowers! Congrats, Emily!
A Divine Gift!
Hello Everyone!
REAL QUICK!
Here's an update about our friend and former co-worker, Emily, who has entered the final trimester of her pregnancy and says there's "six 6 weeks to go" until her baby arrives.
Emily has stayed true to her word and still doesn't know if she's having a boy or a girl and says, "Don't know, don't care" about her baby's gender.
We're calling on all of the "Mommy" saints to look after Emily and we're also asking you to please send your thoughts, prayers and good wishes.
Two of the patron saints of fertility, Saint Margaret and Antioch and saint Rita of Cascia, have obviously been blessing Emily during the past several months.
As Emily's due date draws closer, Margie and Rita will be enlisting the aid of Saint Philomena, who is the patroness of Safe Childbirth. Perhaps that's why one of our favorite saints, John Marie Baptiste Vianey, the "Cure d'Ars," is said to have had such a childlike devotion to Philomena.
In the coming weeks we will be discussing many of the patron saints of Motherhood, including the Blessed Virgin Mary's Mom, Ann, Anna, Anna as well as Saints Gerard and Monica. For now, though, we're concentrating on asking Saints Margaret and Rita and Philomena to guide Emily's childbirthing.
We love you, Emily!
