hand painted saint medals RSS
Actually, Really, Honestly, A Very Short Note & a New Old Policy is Back in Motion, for as Long as Possible….
Hi – Some of you will recall when we first started this little company, back on June 11, 1996. We had 2 hand-painted Saint Medals and Stories, Saint Christopher & Saint Sebastian. They were on laminated rectangular story cards with necklaces attached. We gave them away at a birthday party on City Park Avenue. Gosh, if you have one of those cards, please return it!
Hi, this is Rob & Emily and we are sending you a reminder that Saint Valentine's Day is quickly approaching (next Friday, February 14th to be exact)! If you'd like to purchase a medal, specifically a Saint Valentine medal, please place your order soon so we can get it to you in time!
A very quick update, new medals, new store in Chicago, and a new offer about the Patron Saint of Athletes, Saint Sebastian
We are so excited that we heard from Kim M. in Geneva, Illinois, and now will be selling our medals at a new store! They have a great ministry where they comfort caregivers with a Caregivers Coffee Hour, among other things. If you are in or near Geneva, Illinois, visit The Catholic Shop of Geneva. The medals are in transit though, so wait until next week to see our hand-painted medals. Invite your friends nearby to go see our new medal display too!
Christmas Review of Orders Sent, Sharing Some of Our News and Celebrating the Paton Saint of Friendship & Loyalty
Today we celebrate the life of Saint John the Apostle, the great friend of Jesus and the lone Apostle who loyally stood by him throughout his entire life. No wonder he is classified and known as the Patron of Friendship. We say Saint John is also the patron of loyalty too.
We here at www.SaintsforSinners.com have been hard at work, like little elves you might say, to make sure we get all of your orders out on time. We think we got everything out right, and into your hands to gift to your loved ones by Christmas Day. If not, we tried!
We have recently seen an increase in interest at SaintsforSinners for our Flood Medal Crosses (pictured above). These crosses have medals that were either recovered from after Hurricane Katrina, or medals that didn't quite make it through final inspection to sell. We are so excited that you like them!
Here’s just a short note and update with some very exciting news, along with some very cool photographs! Yesterday, I spoke with the folks at Paperwhite Stationery Boutique in Baton Rouge. Kathryn and Alisa ordered more medals, after their store was only open for two weeks!
We all make Mistakes! Some Big, Some Small; Remember that None of Us are Defined by our Worst Mistakes
We are finally figuring out how to present our flooded saint medals and the hand-painted saint medals that were not quite nicely finished.
This is just a short update about the packages we have begun mailing out from the Canonization - we sent out almost 100 yesterday so many could arrive today, tomorrow, or later in the week. However, we basically mailed in order of receipt of your requests and some of you made a few different requests! So, that means you will likely be receiving more than one package. Please give us another week before you think we may have made a mistake with your request, but if that turns out to be the case, just send us an e mail or give us a call and we will get things right.
Hello everyone! We've been meaning to keep in touch, but time has flown by, and we have been busy building our inventory for the Holidays and bringing in fantastic new items for 2016, including new Lobster claw zipper tags to keep your valuables safe.
Some have asked us to find more of the smaller medals, and we can now say we have found several different styles of the tiny medals (see above image), including: Saint Anthony, The Holy Spirit, Saint Christopher, Crosses, The Miraculous Medal, Infant Baby Jesus, and others that have not yet arrived. They will be on the web site soon ~ www.saintsforsinners.com and also on the Saints for Sinners Facebook Page, SaintforSinners Twitter Page, SaintsforSinners Instagram, and anywhere else you ask us to place them (you can click the links on the bottom of the page).
