A bit of an Update Regarding COVID19, it seems the various communities have come to a consensus that Saint Rock/Roch/Rocco is the “Go To” saint to ask for intercession with the pandemic. Most Google searches seem to point to Saint Rocco, as we have done, although we thought San Bernardino of Siena was a nice choice too.

Someone named Chris filled out the quiz on Saturday. His answers were unremarkable, but I figured if I just started typing, a saint would come to mind and I’d be effectively answering and replying to the quiz. And then get back to watching Ari Melber on MSNBC or Anderson Cooper on CNN, two habits I should probably give up for Lent (or so I am told).

We are soon embarking on a Pilgrimage to Fatima, Portugal to visit the Holy Land, where the Blessed Virgin appeared to the three children: Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco on the 13th day of the month for 6 consecutive months, from May 16th through October 13th and revealed 3 prophecies to them.  She has become known as Our Lady of Fatima ever since.  Miracles have occurred in Fatima and it has been a place of fascination and wonderment for those who seek its comforts.
