Celebrate Saint Margaret of Antioch

 Today, we celebrate Saint Margaret of Antioch, our patron of fertility. Saint Margaret’s medal is one of the first ones we ever started hand-painting and she has always been very popular. On more than a few occasions we have received notes from women (and men) who believe our Saint Margaret medal helped with their pregnancy plans.Â
   It was many, many years ago, ( The Olden Days ) when SaintsforSinners was just starting out, that we heard from a couple, Kathy and Jimi, in California. Kathy had ordered a medal, by writing a note and sending me a check in the mail. There were no credit card capabilities on the web at the time.Â
   So, I sent her the medal and a while later, received this response in the mail:
   I guess we wound up sending an extra medal and it was one of our Saint Margaret. Before Hurricane Katrina damage we had their note and a copy of the check she sent tacked on our bulletin board. Bittersweet in some ways yet nevertheless, very fond memories of Saint Margaret of Antioch, Kathy, Jimi, and the first check we ever received, in the mail.
