The story about Saint Christopher tells a legend of Christopher helping a small child crossing a raging river. Christopher was able to hoist the little boy on his shoulders and get him across the water safely. What Christopher did not know was that he had been carrying Jesus and that Jesus carried the whole world on his shoulders. It’s not surprising Saint Christopher thought the boy was very heavy.

A lady found it recently! She opened the note inside and was told to go have a beverage to remember their son. That story made us think about car accidents, safety, traveling and texting. So, Our Lady of the Highway came to mind. Our Lady protects people traveling on roads and highways.

A few more chapters of the book rob is working on have finally been finished and he has created a nice outline that’s possible to follow and begin moving further toward completion. So far, the stories of Saint Bernard, Saint Rosalie, along with Saint Maria Goretti, Dismas and the Miraculous Medal have weaved together fairly seamlessly. We offer thanks to the weaver’s saint, Anastasia, for helping us band anecdotes, undo knots, connect dots and whatnot to recall a simple story of a simple life. Again, with hopefulness and catharsis themed in a way that’s all kinds of exciting! Easy? No. Exciting? Yes!

It’s September 18th, so you know what that means! The Frequent Flyer Franciscan Friar, Saint Joseph of Cupertino, is having his Feast Day. He is known as the patron of safe flight. He protects our airlines, Air Force, and aviators. He’s also the patron invoked for help with taking tests.  Who knew!?
