While in France, we were finally able to visit the Saint Gens Church and learn more about the Legend of Saint Gens. We tried to go many times, but the hours of operation are very limited and not quite accurate. Eventually, we had the opportunity to see Saint Gens. He did not disappoint! We added some pictures of Saint Gens, who still lies in his glass coffin, incorrupt! Plus, A Reminder about Gretna Art Market, on Saturday, September 9th, 2023.

Today we celebrate two of the greatest versions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Our Lady of Perpetual Help and Our Lady of Prompt Succor. Pray to them when in need of quick help or constant help. Palm Sunday is only a few days away! Our Lenten Series will be ending soon and for those of you who read every day, surely that’s another way to celebrate the Resurrection.

Hello! We’ve completed the new card design. The “greeting card/story” of the saint is much smaller, with all the content intact. The first saints to be mailed in the new design are Rocco, Kevin of Glendalough and Charles Borromeo, our patron invoked against ulcers, stomach disorders and Chrons Disease. In fact, sending  Saint Charles is a bit of a surprise because he doesn’t get out into the world much. We’re happy to send him though since he offers great protections!

A bit of an Update Regarding COVID19, it seems the various communities have come to a consensus that Saint Rock/Roch/Rocco is the “Go To” saint to ask for intercession with the pandemic. Most Google searches seem to point to Saint Rocco, as we have done, although we thought San Bernardino of Siena was a nice choice too.

This has been one of the most difficult newsletters to write. Angst. I’m basically feeling full of angst and frozen. Saint Charbel please perform another miracle and cure me from this paralysis. I’ve been reading and studying and trying to write about this coronavirus and everything I type looks crass and hopeless. That’s the bad news….
