We have recently seen an increase in interest at SaintsforSinners for our Flood Medal Crosses (pictured above). These crosses have medals that were either recovered from after Hurricane Katrina, or medals that didn't quite make it through final inspection to sell. We are so excited that you like them!
First, one of the funnier things that happened. I arrived and stayed on Borgo Pio Strada, one of my favorite streets because some of the stores call themselves “Religious Articles Factories.” My favorite is “Comandini S.” Except it was disappointing at first….
What a Super Fantastic Response of Our Offer to Send Souvenirs from the Canonizations on October 13, 2019
Look at the cards and letters we have already received. Rob is not even leaving until October 10th so it looks like he will be receiving even more. As we have said before, that’s OK, we are happy to and send some gifts or trinkets, that may or may not be Blessed by Pope Francis like they were when he went to the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Canonization a few years ago. We will all find out eventually. Some have asked for the deadline to request something by sending us a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope ( SASE ). The answer is truly As Soon As Possible ( ASAP ) because it takes a lot of time and work to get everything organized, planned, put together, mailed and on their way to you.
Today, September 5th, marks the Anniversary date of Saint Teresa of Calcutta’s Canonization, in Rome, at the Vatican, with Popes Francis and Benedict presiding.
We are sending a quick update to let you know we are back from our trip to Rome and Assisi. We found so many great items to share. The folks who ordered the free rosaries or ordered a Mother Teresa medal package will be receiving the Saint Teresa of Calcutta rosaries or hand-painted Saint Teresa medals very soon. We expect to be mailing everything on Monday, or if the Arch Angel Gabriel, patron of postal workers gives us a huge boost, this coming Saturday, September 17th.! But, knowing us, it will probably be Monday, September 19th, when they are all ready to be placed in transit. We're working hard to create nice packaging and we think you will be very happy with our teams' handiwork. Thank you, thank you, and thank you, for your kind words or encouragement and patience!

The response from yesterday's SaintsforSinners.com e-mail offering souvenirs from the upcoming Pope John Paul II Canonization in Rome has been fantastic. We are happy to send the Rosaries that will be blessed by Pope Francis in Vatican Square and mail the postcards, and try to fulfill all requests you make!
