BAD NEWS ~ United States Post Office Announcement

Yes, yesterday, December 15, was the bizarre deadline date, according to the USPS. This makes no sense whatsoever because Christmas is on Friday, December 25th. So, if you count, that means there are 8 “travel days” for mail (actually 9 because mail does move on Sunday, it just does not get delivered) and so that is still a lot of time to get packages mailed and delivered before Christmas.

We are thinking Saint Charbel (sometimes known as Sharbel ) is a worthy Saint to reach out to now. Saint Charbel helps with paralysis and it seems we are all a bit frozen and paralyzed, in a sense, due to the Pandemic.

We learned a bit more about Arch Angel Uriel, whose name refers to light. Like the new Saint John Henry Newman, he offers hope and says, “Lead Kindly Light.” We have only seen a rendering of Arch Angel Uriel once, in Budapest, Europe, and it was marbled and perfectly sculpted.

A bit of an Update Regarding COVID19, it seems the various communities have come to a consensus that Saint Rock/Roch/Rocco is the “Go To” saint to ask for intercession with the pandemic. Most Google searches seem to point to Saint Rocco, as we have done, although we thought San Bernardino of Siena was a nice choice too.
