A QUICK REMINDER! For those of you in New Orleans, don’t forget about the Saint Joan of Arc Parade and Fete on January 6th in the French Quarter. It’s a celebration of Joan of Arc, the Maid of Orleans, birthday!
We have recently seen an increase in interest at SaintsforSinners for our Flood Medal Crosses (pictured above). These crosses have medals that were either recovered from after Hurricane Katrina, or medals that didn't quite make it through final inspection to sell. We are so excited that you like them!
Here’s just a short note and update with some very exciting news, along with some very cool photographs! Yesterday, I spoke with the folks at Paperwhite Stationery Boutique in Baton Rouge. Kathryn and Alisa ordered more medals, after their store was only open for two weeks!
First, one of the funnier things that happened. I arrived and stayed on Borgo Pio Strada, one of my favorite streets because some of the stores call themselves “Religious Articles Factories.” My favorite is “Comandini S.” Except it was disappointing at first….
Today’s post is one where I am basically, tiptoeing into the wet and somewhat scary “Blog Pool.” It’s exciting to be able to be able to share thoughts, musings, ideas, and tales about the saints and how they always fit into our lives. It’s scary too, because I intend to be as honest as I can be. “RUT ROH!”
I'll be writing here regularly, reminiscing about our past, commenting about the present, and offering news and updates for the future. Please check back from time to time to read our new posts, help us recall the history of SaintsforSinners in words and pictures, and learn about our new plans and events.
This is a very short note to say "hi" and offer a free www.saintsforsinners.com pen to anyone who would like one! Just reply to this e-mail, include your mailing address and we will send one to you right away. Also, if anyone would like the bottle opener, shown above, it is also available to anyone who buys a medal, "while supplies last."
Hello everyone! We've been meaning to keep in touch, but time has flown by, and we have been busy building our inventory for the Holidays and bringing in fantastic new items for 2016, including new Lobster claw zipper tags to keep your valuables safe.
Some have asked us to find more of the smaller medals, and we can now say we have found several different styles of the tiny medals (see above image), including: Saint Anthony, The Holy Spirit, Saint Christopher, Crosses, The Miraculous Medal, Infant Baby Jesus, and others that have not yet arrived. They will be on the web site soon ~ www.saintsforsinners.com and also on the Saints for Sinners Facebook Page, SaintforSinners Twitter Page, SaintsforSinners Instagram, and anywhere else you ask us to place them (you can click the links on the bottom of the page).
