A few more chapters of the book rob is working on have finally been finished and he has created a nice outline that’s possible to follow and begin moving further toward completion. So far, the stories of Saint Bernard, Saint Rosalie, along with Saint Maria Goretti, Dismas and the Miraculous Medal have weaved together fairly seamlessly. We offer thanks to the weaver’s saint, Anastasia, for helping us band anecdotes, undo knots, connect dots and whatnot to recall a simple story of a simple life. Again, with hopefulness and catharsis themed in a way that’s all kinds of exciting! Easy? No. Exciting? Yes!

For the 4th of July Weekend we are doing something different! Long ago, some of you will remember we were selling “ThaItalian” Sterling Silver Bracelets covered with our hand-painted saint medals. We stopped doing it when we ran out of the sterling silver because when we went to re-order, it was obvious we could not sell the bracelets with lots of our hand-painted medals. The prices had increased, and everything put together just made it too expensive. However ….

A bit of an Update Regarding COVID19, it seems the various communities have come to a consensus that Saint Rock/Roch/Rocco is the “Go To” saint to ask for intercession with the pandemic. Most Google searches seem to point to Saint Rocco, as we have done, although we thought San Bernardino of Siena was a nice choice too.

The one and only Pope Francis arrives in the United States today! He will first be in Washington to Canonize Junipero Serra and later will visit with the president for the first time on U. S. soil and will later be the first Pope to appear, by invitation, to and address the United States Congress.Pope Francis then travels to New York to address the United Nations and offer Mass in Madison Square Garden. His itinerary then takes him to Philadelphia for a visit to Independence Mall, where he will presumably pick up Philadelphia Eagles Jerseys and Phillies Caps.

We received the coolest letter last week.  It was from an 11 year old boy named Nicholas!  His Mom, Marie, is active with the Troops of Saint George, and we noticed she had written a post about our Saint Richard of Chichester medal, our patron of "NASCAR" and invoked for safe racing!
