I Simply HAD to send out this letter I received. It came yesterday - the day before the trip. It sort of astounded me - it is so nice and such a perfect “send off” for the trip. I cannot wait to send this “rainbow” kid, Henry, some items. I have no idea what “rainbow” even means in this context!
Update: Emily educated me on this term.
So, that’s it - I’ll be keeping in touch - sorry if I am too dramatic about the excitement - it’s a tightrope I walk because if you read all the cards and letters Emily and I have opened and read, well, you would be so touched and moved and full of all kinds of emotions too. So, I guess I’m writing to those people, mostly. This is funny: Thanks for sending in the letters with the envelopes asking for a free souvenir from the Canonizations! Thanks. Honestly, Thanks!
