OUR BRAND NEW SAINT URSULA, UPDATES, CORRECTIONS & A CHANGE OF PLANS ABOUT PACKAGING!
We have a new Saint, Ursula! Not Queen Latifa’s “Ursula” from “The Little Mermaid.” Although …, Ursula’s story in the Mermaid film is uniquely and unusually similar to our Saint Ursula! She looks after the miserable, lonely and depressed and she sings “on the whole I’ve been a saint.” Curiously her big song in the animated film is “Poor Unfortunate Souls.” We will try to paint her medal with the colors blue, lavender, and purple, and black, as she seems to have been drawn on the big screen. It will be challenging! Ursula seems to be a poor unfortunate soul. Yet, in the end, everything works out fine for the Little Mermaid and everyone “lives happily ever after.”
Reducing Prices, Increasing Prices & Adding Saint Medals with New Prices …. November Newsletter & Happy Thanksgiving!
Many years ago, in 2005 or 2006, after our studio was destroyed because of Hurricane Katrina, we were "displaced nomads" for a year and living near Mother Cabrini High School. We were painting the medals in a tiny apartment on Harding Drive.

We learned a bit more about Arch Angel Uriel, whose name refers to light. Like the new Saint John Henry Newman, he offers hope and says, “Lead Kindly Light.” We have only seen a rendering of Arch Angel Uriel once, in Budapest, Europe, and it was marbled and perfectly sculpted.
Pope Francis Calls for Civil Unions for Same Sex Couples
And some of those very people, the ones Pope Francis has embraced, will have the courage and self-respect, to walk back through the doors of their Church. And so, the lapsed, the marginalized, the men and woman feeling rejected by their religion, will finally be treated with the deserved respect, compassion, and sensitivity the Catechism of the Catholic Church has long demanded.

Sunday is the Feast Day of Saint Francis of Assisi
Happy Saint Francis of Assisi Day, 3 days early. I am sure if you look around in your town, there is an event where you can have your favorite pet, be it dog, cat, turtle, iguana, ferret, guinea pig, horse, or bunny, blessed. There are lots of saints that look after those animals, but Saint Francis looks after them all too!
First Come, First Served: Pectoral Cross of Pope Francis, Parable of the Lost Sheep & Special Offer
The message is to reach out to the person who has become difficult and disagreeable or perhaps downright mean and inconsiderate. Remember the old saying “Hurt People Hurt People.” When someone is giving you less love, that’s the time to give them more of your love and compassion. Now that is what Jesus would do, and he’s a pretty good role model, in our view, even if you’re a devout, lapsed, non-Catholic, or otherwise.
Safe Travel, Saint La Strada and Joseph of Cupertino
It’s September 18th, so you know what that means! The Frequent Flyer Franciscan Friar, Saint Joseph of Cupertino, is having his Feast Day. He is known as the patron of safe flight. He protects our airlines, Air Force, and aviators. He’s also the patron invoked for help with taking tests. Who knew!?
