We here at www.SaintsforSinners.com have been hard at work, like little elves you might say, to make sure we get all of your orders out on time. We think we got everything out right, and into your hands to gift to your loved ones by Christmas Day. If not, we tried!

We are happy to say that we are officially caught up with our orders for Christmas. So, if you would like to place an order, or another order, we can get it to you before Christmas, for sure! Except … There’s a “But.”

It’s December 3rd and we are still completely up-to-date with year 2019 orders and we have even been able to say “Yes!” to Special Requests too ... so far! I say this every year: “Maybe this will be the Christmas Holiday where we do everything right!”

It’s Thanksgiving week - the time to appreciate the bounties of our harvests, our loved ones, our families, our friendships, and our lives.  Happy Thanksgiving to all, even those of you in Canada and the other continents where my e-mails arrive.

We have been enjoying making the new crosses with the medals we dug up after the flood and also using the medals that just did not quite make it through the creation phase for one reason or another. “THE MISFIT MEDALS” were in a big bin with nowhere to go because they are blemished in some way but we could not ever throw them away….

We have recently seen an increase in interest at SaintsforSinners for our Flood Medal Crosses (pictured above). These crosses have medals that were either recovered from after Hurricane Katrina, or medals that didn't quite make it through final inspection to sell. We are so excited that you like them!

because Rob is away and I’ve got to share this with everyone!

We received the sweetest SaintsforSinners testimonial from Shirley Lewis today:

"Today I was at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. and saw your SaintsforSinners medals in the gift shop! It makes me proud and happy! Well done!!"

Thank you, Shirley. You made my day. You made Rob's week, I'm sure. Thanks so much! I can't wait until he sees this.

Answers About the Synod and the “Controversy.” There are some Catholics who think Pope Francis went too far scheduling a Synod, or big meeting about the Climate Change Crisis. I think he was just trying to raise awareness about the deforestation and problems with the indigenous people who are threatened by development on their land. I guess it is similar to what the Indians encountered by the development of their land back-in-the day.

First, one of the funnier things that happened. I arrived and stayed on Borgo Pio Strada, one of my favorite streets because some of the stores call themselves “Religious Articles Factories.”  My favorite is “Comandini S.”  Except it was disappointing at first….

I Simply HAD to send out this letter I received. It came yesterday - the day before the trip. It sort of astounded me - it is so nice and such a perfect “send off” for the trip. I cannot wait to send this “rainbow” kid, Henry, some items.

Here’s our last note before we board the plane for the Canonizations at the Vatican this weekend. We’ve received your envelopes and taken notes and think we can find most the items you have requested.  Emphasizing “most!”

Look at the cards and letters we have already received. Rob is not even leaving until October 10th so it looks like he will be receiving even more. As we have said before, that’s OK, we are happy to and send some gifts or trinkets, that may or may not be Blessed by Pope Francis like they were when he went to the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Canonization a few years ago. We will all find out eventually. Some have asked for the deadline to request something by sending us a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope ( SASE ). The answer is truly As Soon As Possible ( ASAP ) because it takes a lot of time and work to get everything organized, planned, put together, mailed and on their way to you.

We are finally figuring out how to present our flooded saint medals and the hand-painted saint medals that were not quite nicely finished.

Yesterday, September 29th, is known as the Feast Day and the Celebration of Angels, specifically the Arch Angels, Gabriel, Michael and Raphael. The Guardian Angel seemingly fits into the calendar radar too because his Feast Day is this Saturday, October 2nd, or this Wednesday! Don’t worry about missing the feast day of the Guardian Angels. They don’t take days off!
